Family Nurse Practitioner, Sharon Zell, established Show Low Family Clinic in 2023 as a way to deliver medical care in the most convenient and confidential manner.
Sharon can diagnose and treat you when you are ill or have an acute or chronic medical condition requiring treatment or management. In addition, she will work with you to optimize your preventive health strategies – to improve your quality of life, help you achieve your wellness goals, and help keep you and your loved ones healthy well into the future.
Sharon has been providing patient care since 1994. She is nonjudgmental, compassionate, and she truly cares about her patients and their needs. With Sharon, you have a primary care provider who listens, addresses your concerns, offers multiple treatment options, and provides easy-to-understand information and facts. She is passionate about providing clear and practical guidance for her patients so each person can make informed healthcare decisions consistent with their needs.
A Message from the Founder
“I started Show Low Family Clinic to help people with the types of health issues many find difficult to discuss. It seemed to me that there was a lack of clear, practical health information available – and a need to help people better understand the biological changes that occur throughout our lives.
So often, we go through our days, which turn into years, with all sorts of physical, emotional, and occasionally scary changes taking place – without knowing if the changes we’re experiencing are normal. As we age, the changes keep coming, and many are unprepared for the changes they face. I have seen this happen regularly in both men and women throughout my career.
For example, completely natural conditions that occur in mid-life, such as menopause in women and erectile dysfunction in men, may cause a variety of problematic and disruptive symptoms. Getting appropriate treatment for these symptoms can be absolutely critical to your physical and emotional well-being.
All of this is why I created Show Low Family Clinic and why I believe it is so important to spend time on patient education as well as treatment. I strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information related to my patients’ health issues and questions.”
